SPECIAL MAKEUP EFFECTS (POC and Prosthetic Transfer Fabricator)

This “Portfolio” consists of many images during Production Coordinating for Special Makeup Effects. As Production Coordinator, duties involve multiple projects, script breakdowns/character builds/budgets, scheduling of effects per One-Liner, direct contact with Producers, Directors, Actors and Studio heads, as well as…pretty much making sure it all happens properly to make all parties fully satisfied. Every once in awhile you get to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty in the process we call “Special Makeup Effects”. There are some images that illustrate the Academy Award Winning “3D Prosthetic Transfers” I was lucky enough to solely fabricate for over 2 years.

This “Portfolio” consists of images and information during coordination for various departments. It has always been a passion to learn the ins-n-outs of all other Departments, how they work and why it’s important to understand other peoples’ positions in order to best facilitate a Production. I have had the pleasure to work with many artists, at many levels, in different avenues to broaden my understanding of how this marvelous world works and how personalities can intermingle. A Production runs from the highest on the totem pole to the lowest on the totem pole. All parties make a Production “happen”.
